To whom it may concern,
Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles (APEV) is now holding
2017 EV Mobility Design Contest for International Students.
We have the honor to inform you that Minister Awards from METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) will be awarded to outstanding teams.
This contest aims to provide opportunities to learn and think about automated driving, traffic policies for depopulated areas, and issues that have been discussed in national research conferences. We hope that Minister Awards could encourage the participants, and expect developing sophisticated suggestions. There are also new jury members from METI and MLIT.
Same as previous time, MOE (Ministry of the Environment), METI , MLIT and The University of Tokyo are supporting this contest. Furthermore, because of the relationship with TOCOG (The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games), we will receive support from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government this time.
We do not evaluate works only by styling.
We look forward to far-sighted ideas considering the trend of whole society, and proposals including worldviews which are one step ahead of other design contests.
